They weren't sing-lying when they said you couldn't stop the beat of Tracy Turnblad and her corny crew.
According to EW, Adam Shankman is working on a sequel to everyone’s favourite movie musical of late, Hairspray.
I meant to post this earlier but I was still recovering from the news. Part of me is completely psyched at the thought of seeing Tracy and Link dance their pants off again. But another part of me is worried that it might be a train wreck.
The original was pretty much perfection in this hair hopper's eyes (you could say, it's timeless to me). To be honest, I can't really think of anything else that could make it bigger, blonder or more beautiful. And what's this about Link Larkin channeling his inner Austin Powers? NO THANK YOU.
What are your thoughts on this weirdly exciting development? I'm thinking if it's anywhere near as C-O-O-L as Grease 2, then it better be on like Donkey Kong. The sad thing is, there wasn't an smidgen of sarcasm in that comment.
While I await for more word on this movie, I shall don my foam wig and ponder about whether or not Zac Efron will ever stop making love to the camera via epic sing-songs and dance-a-longs.
